Simple solutions to finding the perfect graduation gift

Underclassmen, we’d love you all to show up at our graduation parties, making us feel popular and loved. But you know what we’d love even more? A stellar gift!

Here are some very solid gift ideas, ranging from $0-$20ish

$0

A lovely collage. Try, your friend’s face photoshopped on his or her ideal environment. (whether it be with Natalie Portman or James Franco, or in front of pyramids or something.)

A lovely card. Simply pour all of your musings, ideas and opinions about the graduate into one card. Seal it with a kiss. 😉

$10ish

Emergen-C. These packets of powdered vitamin C may taste questionable, but they’re necessary to keep your graduate healthy for the first few weeks of school. The tangerine flavor is the least offensive.

Homemade thank you notes. after all, they’ll have a lot of thanking to do after their graduation. All you need is paper and a Pinterest board.

$15-20

A t-shirt from a local business in Lawrence. If your graduate is going away for college, he or she will definitely benefit from having a Love Garden, Free State Brewery or Shark’s Surf Shop t-shirt.

A basket full of toiletries. Seriously. While we’re learning about differential calculus and organic chemistry, we won’t have time to concern ourselves with petty matters like hygiene.

A guidebook for the town in which your graduate’s college is located.

Cards Against Humanity. Nothing brings a group of 18 year-olds together like some good old fashioned horribly offensive humor.

Straight up cash. Gotta have it.
