Ninth Grade Moving Up

Imagine coming to Free State for a new school year and finding the school swarming with ninth graders. That may happen in the near future. Recently the school board passed a movement to let the ninth graders participate in wrestling with the older students. Now they are considering moving the whole ninth grade up to the high school level for not only athletics but academics as well. For now nothing is definite according to the Lawrence School District.
