New Changes to Seminar

Students look forward to late arrival Wednesday every week. In previous years, students were able to sleep an extra hour and come into their first hour class at 9:00 am. This year however, students will be able to sleep even later.

This year Wednesday seminar will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and attendance will be optional.  School will now start at 9:35 am to allow time for teachers to help students. In the past, teachers have been unavailable before school on Wednesday because of PLC meetings. This year, teacher’s schedules have changed and PLC meetings will be organized by departments. This change allows teachers and students 45 minutes to meet as well as 45 minutes for teachers to go to their required PLC meetings. Before school on Wednesday the English, Social Studies, Special Education and Fine arts departments will be available from 8:00-8:45 a.m. The Math, Science, Foreign Language and PE departments will be available from 8:45-9:30 a.m.
