Mallory Thompson, News Photo Editor
Mallory is a senior and the News Photo Editor of the Free Press Newsmagazine and Online. This is her third year on staff and outside of journalism she is involved in National English Society, NHS, and LINK Crew. You can find her doing graphic design or hanging out with her dog in her free time.

Anders Benson, Yearbook Photo Editor
Anders is a senior and a Photo Editor for the Free State Talon. Outside of journalism, he is involved in marching band, wind ensemble, chamber choir, chamber singers, orchestra and musical theater. Outside of school, he enjoys writing and recording songs and doing portrait and street photography.

Baila Love, Online Editor-in-Chief
Baila is a senior and the Editor-in-Chief of the Free State Free Press Online. Her goals for the 2025-2026 school year are to make our content more interesting for our readers and to be an Online Pacemaker finalist. Outside of journalism, she is involved in forensics, theater, varsity improv, National Honor Society, Fashion Club and Finer Things Club. Outside of school, she likes to practice her instruments, listen to CDs and hang out with her cat, Julien.

Nathan Kramer, News Photo Editor
Nathan is a senior and a Photo Editor of the Free State Free Press. He is a member of the Free State Color Guard and Symphonic Orchestra, and he serves coordinator of volunteer activities for NHS. Outside of FSJ, he is also a photographer for The Lawrence Times.

Kinley Gigous, Online Managing Editor
Kinley Gigous is a junior and a Managing Editor for the Free State Free Press Online. She is also involved in theatre, cross country, Fashion Club and Finer Things Club. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with her friends.

Nathan Friedman, Yearbook Photo Editor
Nathan is a senior and a Photo Editor for the Free State Talon. Outside of journalism, he is involved in theatre, drama club, baseball, swim and dive and National Honor Society. In his free time, Nathan likes to practice baseball before the spring semester and go to work at Ramen Bowls.
