Madison Boulton is a fifteen year old sophomore at Free State High school. This is her second year being in public school after nine years of being home-schooled. She first started at West Junior High her ninth grade year. Public school overwhelmed her at first, but she enjoys it now. After two years of being in public school, she already considers herself to be a “public school kid.” One of the things she misses most about being home-schooled is sleeping in. Being around her friends all the time is worth it though. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family. Outside of school she participates in dance and is actively involved in her church. Both served as a large part of her socialization before she entered public school.
